Apple cloud vs. Google cloud: The philosophical differences | TechRepublic

Words have disappeared! Clearly - are we gonna get to understand the Cloud computing? Simply Yes.

Apple and Google are both pioneers and always in the forefront of technological development within this generation. Apple's history is long and makes for a good novel to read. Google story is a heroic content of superheroes!

But the two are not doing justice to the Cloud computing in the immediate. But rather provide for a healthy, juicy competition (an always welcome ingredient in advancing anything)

Recently, I got involved in a project to uncover, develop and grow Cloud Service offerings (sounds like a self-help book, considering). The vast questions, the varying answers and understandings of Cloud, leaves the question: are we going to get to define and understand Cloud Computing anytime soon? I wish I can remain as calm in my thoughtout response and still say yes. My kids wont get to have a clear definition of Cloud Computing up until they reach or finish matric (Grade 12).

But I love the competition right now. Not only with Google and Apple! but as a global phenomenon!
